The establishment of the business was a natural step in the growth strategy of our sister company, Papaya Interior Designs (Pty) limited. Papaya is a manufacturer of fully upholstered furniture based in Johannesburg, South Africa and is a supplier to major retail outlets. Its customers include UFO and Bedzone (both part of the Lewis Group). Papaya has also been a supplier to OK Furnitures, House & Home, Dial A Bed and Bradlows.

UBK Enterprises was established primarily to be the retail operation for Papaya in Zambia, while ensuring that we can respond to the broad home furnishing needs of the Zambian consumer.
